Google Inc. has unveiled its latest Nexus One phone so it works on the same high-speed wireless network as Apple Inc.’s iPhone.
The new device is poised to be a serious challenger to iPhone, which uses AT&T Inc.’s 3G network as its communications channel. Nexus One had been running on slower networks since Google ventured into the smartphone market in early January. The switch is seen as Google’s attempt to curtail iPhone and Blackberry dominance in the smartphone market.
Analysts maintain Nexus One has yet to make much impact despite Google’s efforts to promote Nexus One as a “super” phone that’s a cut above the iPhone.
Nexus One’s upfront cost can be substantially higher than the iPhone because Google is selling some models without subsidies from wireless carriers to make it easier for consumers move to other networks.

Sprint said on Wednesday the Google Inc’s Nexus One Smartphone will soon be available to subscribers of Sprint Nextel Corp. It would announce the pricing and availability date in the not so distant future.
Sprint will be the third carrier after T-Mobile and AT&T which support the Nexus One.
I truly loved this brilliant article. Please continue this awesome work. Regards, Duyq.
